Request for Proposals for West Dutch Hollow Creek and Dutch Hollow Creek

Chautauqua County is seeking a qualified business or individual to provide Professional Services for Streambank Stabilization Design, Permitting, and Construction Management on West Dutch Hollow and Dutch Hollow Creek in the Town of Ellery. Please review the RFP materials and respond in accordance with the instructions in the RFP. Please note the deadlines for submission are different for each RFP. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM at 3819 Dutch Hollow Road, Ellery, NY. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:00 PM at 3118 Dutch Hollow Road, Ellery, NY.

Sealed proposals must be received by Tuesday, February 28, 2017, no later than 3:30 P.M. ET.  Submit to: Chautauqua Lake & Watershed Management Alliance (Alliance), Project Manager, 201 West 3rd Street, Suite 115,  Jamestown, NY 14701. 

Please submit three (3) hard-copies and one (1) CD containing an electronic copy of your proposal.

2014 Erosion Diagnosis and Mitigation Engineering Study - Goose Creek and Dutch Hollow Creek

Goose Creek Erosion Diagnosis and Mitigation StudyWatershed Goose Creek Appendix

The goal of the above study was to assess watershed and instream conditions and process, identify and prioritize erosional areas, and develop conceptual remediation designs for erosional impacts within two tributary watersheds draining to Chautauqua Lake, Goose Creek and Dutch Hollow Creek. Stormwater, drainage, and other out-of-channel aspects of the two watersheds were evaluated to identify impacts to stream channel form, function, and process.
